Football in the Community |
|
That is the belief of Ian Reed (left), our Community Liaison Officer for Petersfield Town Juniors. He took on the job 3 year’s ago and says much of the reward for many hours unpaid work is the knowledge that the club is regarded as a valuable asset to the Town. ‘We see ourselves very much as a community club. Football should be for everyone, and we want it to be fun for players of all ages and standards’. Petersfield Town Juniors are also intensely aware of the need for youngsters to enjoy playing and training in a safe environment. “All our managers are trained to FA standards, and all adults involved with the club have been CRB checked. We are also regularly checked by the Hampshire FA to ensure that our standards are being maintained.” |
